“Stop 0×0000007B” errors in Windows 2000 Server
Yesterday I got a report that one of my Windows 2000 Servers was offline. After hooking up a console to the machine I discover that it had bluescreened with a
STOP: 0×0000007B (parameter1, parameter2, parameter3, parameter4)
INACCESSIBLE_BOOT_DEVICE
The hardware (Visionman) is notorious for having component issues. I rebooted the machine a few times and it eventually booted normally.
I setup the machine to do a chkdsk at boot to verify the integrity of the hard disk and it was fine.
I will keep my eye on this one!
